Taylor stories

Yesterday was fun. My folks decided to come in Sunday evening so I took Monday off and kept Taylor out of school. If the weather had been like it was all last week, I would’ve suggested the zoo. As it was, it rained just enough in Gardendale that you were drenched in sweat as soon as stepped out of the door. It was humid!

So, having heard that it would rain more in the afternoon, we went shopping in the morning. First, Taylor said she wanted grandpa’s sunglasses. He obliged.

I think I found the new wallpaper for my cell phone. We had fun shopping. She requested an American flag while in Walmart – how could I could I say no to that? She spent the rest of the morning waving her flag, saying the pledge and singing “My Country Tis of Thee.”

I think I’ve also posted about her daycare teaching memory verses. She’s got Genesis 1:1 and John 1:3 (All things were made by him). Last week they were working on “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14 – yes, I had to look it up). I asked her about the new one they were learning, prompted a little and she said it – said “fearfully” funny but I can’t translate into blog. I asked where that verse was from and she paused for a moment then said, “God.” Now who can argue with that?!

She’s too smart. And I’m not biased in the least. Nope.
