Fun at the Magnolia Festival

We spent most of Saturday afternoon at the Magnolia Festival, Gardendale’s annual community shindig. Weather was great — not too hot and a nice stiff breeze to keep it that way — but the lines for pretty much everything were long and slow.

Regardless, we got to fit in a few fun things in and around lunch and Taylor’s annual dance class impromptu performance meltdown on stage (sorry, no meltdown photos, but if you’ve ever spent time with us you know what they look like already).

After lunch Taylor did get to ride the pink pony …

I finally get a smile out of Taylor as she\'s riding the pink pony

… and the race car train …

before we gave up and went home.

Check out more photos after the jump.

What, you say? Photos aren’t enough anymore? You glutton! Here is some video of Taylor riding her pony.

I was also shooting photos and video for al.com, so use the links above for more of that goodness.

One of the videos I was grateful to capture was an older dancer from Taylor’s studio, who got some unexpected company on stage.
