Cast of Knight Rider
On the drive home tonight, Taylor made me oh so proud.
Sci-Fi Channel lately has been filling their late-night time slots with old episodes of my childhood favorite show, Knight Rider. Thanks to the beauty of TiVo, I have been recording these episodes and reveling in the nostalgia of it all. Taylor has been watching with me, and frequently asks to watch “Talking Car”.
On the way home tonight, Taylor says to me:
The future?
“Daddy, I’m not bigger and bigger yet, but when I get bigger and bigger, I get to ride in K.I.T.T. like Michael does, and get a watch, and talk to my buddy.”
For the uninitiated, Michael talks to K.I.T.T. through his watch comlink, and regularly calls the car “buddy.”
