Communion

Posted on March 9, 2008, 12:48 pm by Brian

Taylor and I are in Huntsville for the weekend, and went to St. Stephen’s this morning with Grandma and Grandpa. Unlike at our church, kids are allowed to receive communion, and Taylor likes to partake thereof when we’re in town.

I have explained to her numerous times just what communion is, the eating and drinking of Jesus’ body and blood, to make sure she grasps the concept. Apparently she understands — after she received the wine this morning, she looked up at me and proclaimed “Mmmm, blood is yummy!”
