Can you feel the love?

Okay, so I brought my lunch to work today, heated it up, took a few bites and decided “Yuck.” I went across the street to the Burger King instead and left with a smile on my face!

First, there was a homeless guy sitting near the door talking to himself. I went on in. While I was in line, I heard two guys come in and they had the homeless man with him. I overheard bits and pieces of the conversation and it was nice. They talked about where he was from and jobs. He asked them if they believed in God and they did then talked about that. Like I said, it was nice.

Then, I watched this burly biker type walk up to an elderly gentleman who was wearing a hat that labeled him as a Korean War vet. The biker guy said, “Sir, I’d just like to thank you for what you did.”

I’m glad my baked potato was yucky or I would’ve missed all that!
