To top off the weekend Elizabeth described previously, we arrived home from work today and walked in, and Elizabeth’s first comment was “Wow, it sure is hot in here.”
It is hot. Too hot.
Just as the biggest heat wave of the summer kicks in, our air conditioner gives up the ghost. It apparently lasted long enough during the day to keep the temperature at a decent level – it’s just 82 in here right now. Hopefully we’ll get it fixed tomorrow.
Oh, and the AC in my office building died yesterday too. A chiller is out. Thankfully, this morning, they have portable units in place all over the building with big garish hoses going up to the vents.
